Coming soon. Our next formula takes a different approach: a gentle, everyday under-arm care made from 100% phitkari (potash alum), the clear mineral crystal Bengali households have kept by the washbasin for generations. Nothing else is added — no fragrance, no alcohol.
Phitkari is naturally astringent and helps keep odour-causing bacteria in check, which is why it has long been used as a simple alternative to conventional deodorants. Use it every day after your bath, just as you would a roll-on.
Pack size: 100 g (approx.). Store in a cool, dry place.
- After your bath, pat your under-arms completely dry.
- Apply a thin, even layer to clean, dry skin, the same way you would use a roll-on.
- Let it dry for a minute before dressing.
Use once a day.
Before you start
- Patch test. Apply a small amount to the inner forearm and wait 24 hours before first use.
- Do not apply to broken, irritated or freshly shaved or waxed skin.
- Stop use if you notice persistent stinging, redness or itching.
- For external use only. Keep away from the eyes and out of reach of children.
- 100% potash alum (potassium aluminium sulphate, known locally as phitkari) — a naturally occurring mineral salt. It is astringent, and it helps keep odour-causing bacteria on the skin in check.
No fragrance, colour, alcohol or other ingredients are added.
