The neck picks up sun exposure, friction and pigment build-up just as fast as the face, but rarely gets the same attention. Atheelaina’s Neck Dark Spot Remover Formula is a dry botanical powder you mix fresh at home, so the actives reach your skin at full strength instead of sitting in a preservative-filled jar for a year.
Rice and turmeric extracts do the brightening work, with fruit extract to loosen dull surface cells. It is made for the front and sides of the neck, used twice a week.
Pack size: 100 g — around 25 applications, or roughly three months at twice-weekly use. Store sealed in a cool, dry place away from humidity and use within six months of opening.
- Take about 4 g (roughly one teaspoon) into a clean, non-metal bowl.
- Add enough water to make a smooth, spreadable paste, then stir in 2–4 drops of fresh lemon juice.
- Apply an even layer over the front and sides of the neck, avoiding broken skin.
- Leave for 15–20 minutes, then rinse with lukewarm water while the mask is still slightly tacky. Do not let it dry out and crack — a fully dried mask pulls moisture back out of the skin.
- Pat dry and follow with your usual moisturiser.
Use twice a week. Mix only what you need for a single application and discard the rest — never store the wet paste.
Before you start
- Patch test. Apply a small amount to the inner forearm and wait 24 hours before first use.
- Use in the evening. Lemon juice can make skin more reactive to sunlight, so keep the treated area out of direct sun for 24 hours after use.
- Stop use if you notice persistent stinging, redness or itching.
- For external use only. Keep away from the eyes and out of reach of children.
- Rice extract — a traditional South Asian brightening staple, used for generations for a smoother, more even-looking tone.
- Turmeric extract — the classic golden root, long used across Bangladesh to calm and brighten skin.
- Fruit extract — naturally occurring fruit acids that gently loosen dull surface cells.
